This blog is inspired by the numerous emails that our Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University Sunway Campus, Johor Bahru Clinical School - A.Prof Wong Yin Onn has sent to our group email.
We felt that such interesting and informative pieces of writing and articles, if kept to ourselves, will benefit only to very few individuals. But by posting them online, everyone from every corner of the world, who has access to the Internet, will be able to share these pieces of jewel.
It is just a way of passing down Dr Wong's legacy, just like how he passed down the late Prof. Danaraj's. Prof Danaraj was his professor when he was a medical student at University of Malaya. What he is teaching us now, was taught by his late professor who was full of competence in clinical skills and wisdom in the art of medicine.
This is our way of extending our heartfelt thanks to Dr Wong who has taught us so much. There is so many way of thanking a person. We do not think that nice cards are sufficient in expressing what we want to say. We want something more special, and the inception of this blog allows his teaching and advice to transcend across different schools, different universities situated in different countries.
His breath and depth of knowledge inside and outside the medical field is something that we want to acquire and emulate.
